Bishop Isaac Idahosa honours DAYLIGHT Publisher, Azuh Amatus, others with awards at birthday celebration

The Lekki Light Centre parish of Illumination Assembly was agog on Sunday, March 3 during the birthday celebrations of its general overseer and presiding bishop, Dr. Isaac Idahosa.

The high-octane event, which was hugely attended by several leading men of God and famous entertainers drawn from Nollywood, the music and comedy sectors, began with praise and worship from wave making gospel act, Mike Abdul and many others.

The high point of the memorable evening celebration, which began with a red carpet session, was the presentation of special recognition awards by the birthday boy, Idahosa, who turned 54, to some Nollywood stars, media personalities, members and supporters of the wave making church.

Some of the awardees who were also in attendance included: Nollywood stars, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, Tricia Eseigbe-Kerry and Queen Blessing Ebigieson.

Also presented with Merit and Awards of Excellence were the top media personalities duo of Azuh Arinze, the publisher of Yes International magazine and Azuh Amatus, publisher of leading online newspaper, Daylight.ng.

The general overseer of Liberation City church, Dr. Chris Okafor, also got an award for his contributions in the Lord’s vineyard alongside few other friends and members of the church.

Elated Idahosa, an accomplished author, who was accompanied to the grand gathering by his delectable wife, also unveiled his latest book, Don’t Jump Up, Grow Up, to the admiration of his guests.

The unveiling of the inspirational book, which was highly commended by many, was supervised by Bishop Osa-Oni, who equally doubled as the chairman of the event.

In his brief remarks, Idahosa, who is also the founder of God First Ministry Incorporated, thanked all his guests for coming out en masse to rejoice and celebrate with him on the occasion of his birthday.

“As you have all come out to honour and celebrate with me today, celebrations will never cease in your homes. We cannot thank all of you enough. We look forward to hosting you all again at my next year’s birthday. We must keep celebrating and thanking God because every day is a plus,” he stated amid smiles.

The event came to a rousing end with the sumptuous dinner, which flowed freely from all corners of the beautifully decorated main auditorium of the church, which served as the venue of the historic three-in-one birthday celebrations.
