Rising youngster and former Right2win Sports Club striker, Bolu Pascal Chidi has officially put pen -to- paper on a two-year contract with United Arab Emirates outfit Khorfakkan FC.

The move by Chidi was exclusively confirmed to Daylight Sports by the player’s manager and chairman of Right2Win Sports Club, Kelechi Orji Nnorom but did not give financial details of the deal. Chidi joined the UAE outfit from Moldovan side FC Zimbru.

The 19-year-old was an instant hit at the UAE modest club despite playing just a few games in the green colours of  FC Zimbru as his promising qualities paved way for a move to money spinning United Arab Emirates Gulf League.
“ Chidi  has joined Khorfakkan FC in United Arab Emirates on a two-year contract. His medical was successful and the deal has been signed and sealed,’’ an elated Nnorom disclosed to Daylight Sports.

“ He  is a very good player, very fast and very good in one-against-one situation, above all he is a good dribbler. I would say he has a big potential and a bright future ahead of him.

“ What excites me most about him is the improvement. The improvement has been dramatic and if he continues like that he would go places, ” added Nnorom who is a top member of the Abia Football Association.

Speaking on his move to Khorfakkan FC, the teenage sensation said: “ I  am very happy to join a new club. I have been looking forward to this move. I am hopeful I will do well. I thank my former teammates at Right2Win and  the management for their massive support and I promise to represent them well.”

Chidi has been tipped to spearhead Khorfakkan attack alongside another Nigerian in their books Williams Obande. It would be recalled that Khorffakkan  returned to the top flight in 2019 after winning UAE Division 1 League.
