Zuma Film Festival honours Segun Arinze with Life Time Achievement Award

For his immense contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian film industry, globally known as Nollywood, legendary actor and leading entertainer, Segun Aina Padonou famously known as Segun Arinze was recently honoured with a Lifetime Achievement award at this year’s Zuma Film Festival, which held in Abuja, Nigeria.

In a chat with DAYLIGHTng, shortly after receiving the prestigious award, elated and still celebrating Arinze, thanked the organisers for deeming it fit to bestow on him such a huge honour.

“Thank you Zuma for this 2020 Lifetime Achievement award…Thank you for the honour… It can only be God. Baba I thank you. Thank you JSA, for always standing by me with your support and constructive criticism, also to our kids”, he gushed amid smiles.

Speaking further with DAYLIGHTng, the multi-talented entertainer from Badagry, Lagos state, disclosed that his latest diadem is dedicated to all young actors striving to get to the top.

“Sincerely, I dedicate this award to all the young actors toiling and working hard to make it to the top. You will get there with tenacity and belief”, he maintained.
