Lagos agog as Juniorate Old Boys Association (JOBA) holds AGM

The Lagos state chapter of the Holy Ghost Juniorate Ihiala Old Boys Association (JOBA), recently held its 2020 Annual General Meeting.

The well attended gathering which held elaborately at the Runway (The Hub) Bar and Restaurant, Ikeja, Lagos, witnessed the coming together of the old students of the highly revered institution, situated in Anambra state.

The event, which began with an opening prayer, was officially declared open by the president of the Lagos chapter, Barrister Emeka Nsofor, whose opening remarks was well received with resounding applause.

There were three paper presentations at the event, which had victuals in surplus alongside musical interludes.

The first paper, which was presented by Mr. Joseph Kayode was titled: Longrich: Our Health and Wellness Matter.

It was closely followed by another on Investing in Real Estate: the Varied Options, courtesy of Mr. Blaise Emordi.

While the last presentation was aptly tagged: Health and Wellness: The Extra Income Stream.

While shedding more light on the AGM, a visibly elated Barrister Nsofor, thanked all for coming, especially JOBA members, adding that the AGM affords them the opportunity to meet, discuss and relax under a conducive atmosphere once in a year.

“At JOBA, we are one happy big family. This AGM is how we reconnect and relax every year. We also use the occasion to network, exchange ideas and equally think of how to further empower ourselves and our alma mater,” he disclosed amid smiles.

The memorable and fun-filled event ended with a vote of thanks by the AGM committee chairman, Mr. Emma Umeh.
