Sister cries out: Benue teenager set my brother ablaze after six months affair

The love affair between 17-year-old Esther Alex and her late lover, Chimmah Omah, lasted only six months, the deceased’s sister, Loveliness Omah, has said.

Loveliness, a student of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, spoke with The PUNCH on Saturday.

Nigerians on Facebook and Twitter have since reacted to the confession of the 17-year-old prospective Law student of the Benue State University, Makurdi, on how she set her boyfriend, Chidinma, ablaze after he allegedly made her abort three pregnancies.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that Esther, who said she couldn’t really explain why she killed her boyfriend.

Esther, who is now in police custody also said, “Our relationship was really serious to the extent that we had to take a blood oath before I allowed him to deflower me.”

But the late loverboy’s sister said the relationship lasted only six months. “They were actually in a relationship for about six months to the best of my knowledge,” Loveliness countered. Punch
