Crisis brews as CITN withdraws story lauding ex-CEO turned SAN

The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria has withdrawn its publication published in The PUNCH on Friday, October 7, 2022.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Registrar/Chief Executive of CITN, Adefisayo Awogbade.

The Institute had published a story congratulating Professor Muhammed Abdulrazaq, FCTI on his elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

It should be noted that the news story was neither authorized nor known by Professor Muhammed Abdulrazaq, FCTI before its publication.

The general public is hereby invited to disregard the publication as it was done in error. Punch
