King’s College celebrates World AIDS day in style + Photos

It was a fun filled event recently when teachers and students of Nigeria’s foremost male secondary school, King’s College (KC) celebrated the World AIDS day in style.
The event was celebrated in partnership with the school’s Reproductive Health /Anti AIDS Club ably led by workaholic Mrs. Angelista Esenwa, who also doubled as the chief organiser of the historic gathering.
The teachers and excited students began the event with a colourful rally, which started from the front gate of the revered school through Law School to Church Gate Road, then Adeyemo Alakija and finally back to the school’s main gate, amid applause and cheers.
Also in attendance for the rally were the VP Admin and VP Student Affairs, respectively.
The pulsating rally ended on the field where KC Community kicked HIV/AIDS out of King”s College Lagos, in a thrilling football match.
There was also a general seminar for all the students at the KC Annex Assembly Hall, which was immediately followed by a peer education training that was highly educative and informative.
