Did you know popular record label executive Audu Maikori is married to an Igbo woman? Audu himself revealed this fact recently.

The chairman of Chocolate City entertainment who recently had an ordeal with Governor El Rufai of Kaduna state while reacting to reports that a group of northern youths have given an ultimatum to Igbo people in the North to leave, said his wife was Igbo and he was from Northern Kaduna.

He then added that anyone who tries to send Igbos out will ‘see.’

This statement by the Norther youths has been met with criticism and condemnation by many. In fact, Governor El Rufai on Wednesday, June 7 ordered the arrest and prosecution of the signatories of the quit notice.

“The Kaduna state government takes exception to the fact that the “northern youths” did their irresponsible press conference in Kaduna. This government has been consistent in taking action to punish hate speech and incitement.
