AY Makun gets street named after him and he’s super excited!

AY Makun just got honored by Haven homes and now has a street in his estate named after him.

AY Makun is beside himself with excitement and it is easy to see why!

The ace comedian, filmmaker, and actor just got a street named after him.

The street on which he currently lives, is in Richmond Gate Estate, Lekki built by Haven Homes.

A very excited AY took to his Instagram page on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, to share the good news.

He wrote alongside the post:

‘‘I have seen streets in our cities been named after many famous people from politics, to sports, and to other people who served or contributed to the social cultural development of our country in one way or the other. But I never knew that a day would come where I would be ‘famous’ enough to have a street named in my honor.

“As I say a big thank you to the management of Haven Homes, I just want to use this same opportunity to charge lovers and followers of the AY brand up a little. My prayer is for everyone of you to be remembered and celebrated for something.

“Get off that bed this morning and infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs,  honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen…”

Tuface Idibia is one of very few who share this same honour in the same luxury estate but came into his own, last year.

AY who is famed for understanding and harnessing the business end of comedy has risen to fame in the last few years from stand up comedy which is his trademark and his new foray into acting.

Big congrats to him as we know that this honor is well deserved. pulse
