Banky W debunks selling tickets for his wedding

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwabankole Wellington, known under the stage name Banky W, has debunked the rumour going round about he and his spouse selling tickets to their wedding for N35,000.

Banky W took to social media to react to the information. He simply said good luck to who ever believes the ongoing claims.

The ace artiste who recently did a surgery for skin cancer related the rumours to popular Nigerian style of scam where people send you emails or sms claiming your BVN is blocked or you need to transfer a sum of money to claim an inheritance.

Read his post below; “Lol so I hear there are “tickets to the wedding” on sale for 35k. Anyone who believes that, there are some people very ready to sell u other things like “your bvn is blocked” and “I have an Uncle who will dash you $5 mill usd if u wire just 500k”. Good luck!” .
