CAF to Cameroon: You can’t host 2019 AFCON

The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football, on Friday, confirmed that Cameroon would not be hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In a tweet on its verified Twitter handle, CAF said, the committee met in Accra and decided that the African nation is incapable of hosting the continental tournament.

It had earlier been reported that the committee was meeting to consider reports from Cameroon, about its level of preparedness. Punch
