Colonades Hotels boss Charles Odunukwe decorated with national honour

International businessman and politician, Chief Charles Odunukwe was among the 450 recipients comprising Nigerians and non-Nigerians that were decorated with national honours by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

DAYLIGHT Online gathered that Odunukwe, the chairman/CEO of Colonades Hotels and Resorts, Ikoyi, Lagos received the Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) award.

The Anambra-born billionaire entrepreneur also attended the award investiture ceremony, which held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

In a brief chat with DAYLIGHT Online, elated Odunukwe, who is also a lawyer, thanked the Buhari led federal government for deeming it fit to crown his numerous contributions to the country with a national honour. “I fell happy and elated for this recognition of hard work” he said.
