Nigeria’s most admired gospel music stars are headed for Trinity House, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday October 29 when the much advertised COSON Week takes off in style with the red carpet national day of music, prayer and supplication to the Almighty tagged “COSON in the Church” The nightingales will be joined by Nigeria’s most respected ministers of the gospel in the unprecedented show that will be broadcast live by several TV networks to all corners of the globe.

Among the many top gospel artistes confirmed to perform at COSON in the Church are Mike Abdul, Nathaniel Bassey, Segun Obe, Monique, Essence, Dieko, Segun Oluwayomi, Favour Sax, etc. Lepacious Bose, the very enigmatic hostess with a style all by herself will be on stage at COSON in the Church. She has warned everyone attending the event that they might leave with a few cracked ribs! Also on stage with Bose will be the likes of Koffi the Guru and Kenny Saint Best (KSB). Host Pastor at Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo will co-ordinate the various ministers of the gospel from diverse denominations who will pray for the Nigerian nation and its people at the event.

Talking about the concept of COSON in the Church, Chief Tony Okoroji, event producer extra-ordinaire and Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) said, “I believe that Nigerian entertainers from every tribe have a key role to play in stabilizing the nation and healing the wounds that have threatened our unity and almost driven us to the brink of disintegration with the untold hardship and suffering that they portend. On the day of COSON in the Church, Nigerians can sing with one voice and pray to the Almighty as one and show the world that despite our challenges, we will move ahead and build a nation where every child has the promise of a future. I wish there was a venue that can take the millions who want to be part of COSON in the Church. There is no such venue so we are beaming this non-denominational event live so that people everywhere can join us in the prayers and in the songs in praise of the Almighty”
