Freeze reacts to Majek Fashek’s performance at COZA

Controversial OAP Daddy freeze has his two cents to give over a recent appearance made by legendary singer Majek Fashek at a Nigerian church.

Popular pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo of Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) church in Abuja recently shared photos of him welcoming Majek Fashek into the church. Sources revealed that the singer performed at the altar. The news prompted Freeze to speak up, hammering on the fact that secular music does not belong in the church.

Biodun Fatoyinbo shared photos of Majek on the COZA altar being given a celebrated welcome. He shared the photos with the caption: “Welcome to the Family! I want you to know that COZA is always home for you! ”

As the viral photos of Majek and Pastor Biodun circulated online, Daddy Freeze who came across the photos then spoke up against the practice of welcoming secular music in the house of God.

He said: “I am still searching for the sense in this. I am a huge Majek fan, but do I want to see him perform in a church? – How did we get here? – Maybe I’m wrong, but I thought christian altars are supposed to be sacrosanct… – Can a secular musician like Majek perform in a mosque? Have you ever seen an artiste like Majek perform in a Buddhist or Hindu temple?
