Ighalo scores debut goal for Manchester United

Ex-Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has scored his first goal as a Manchester United player.

He scored in the Reds second leg tie against Club Brugge in their Europa League campaign on Thursday.

He scored in the 34th minute through an assist from Juan Mata.

Ighalo’s goal puts Manchester United in a comfortable 2-0 lead ahead of their opponents.

Ighalo was shortlisted for the first start for Manchester United, after three cameo appearances off the bench.

The striker, signed on loan until the end of the season from Shanghai Shenhua in January, replaced Anthony Martial, who scored United’s goal in the 1-1 first-leg draw of the last-32 tie. Punch
