Iheanacho bungles penalty in Leicester, Palace 1-1 draw

Leicester City have been held to a 1-1 draw away at Crystal Palace in an English Premier League match played on Monday.

Kelechi Iheanacho had the chance to put City in front at Selhurst Park in the 19th minute but had his penalty saved by Vincente Guaita.

Palace took the lead through a counter-attack finished by Wilfried Zaha in the 58th minute.

City equalized through an effort by Harvey Barnes in the 83rd minute to rescue a point from the game.

They move up to the second position on the table with three points behind leaders Liverpool who were yesterday held to a 1-1 draw at home by West Brom.

Their next Premier League game will be away at Newcastle on January 3, 2021, while Palace will welcome Sheffield United on January 2, 2021. Punch
