Public affairs analyst Olukayode Salako has responded to the accusations of him wanting to gain popularity over the death and burial arrangements of Late Moji Olaiya. The actress passed on few weeks after giving birth to her second child and it appears some controversies have risen over given her a befitting burial.

Speaking through his social media page, Olukayode reiterated that his interest in the case was for Moji Olaiya’s remains not to be abandoned in a foreign land and nothing else. The remains of the actress are said to soon be en-route Nigeria after much tussle over the sponsorship of its movement.

In his post, titled My Contribution; My Concern, Salako boldly stated his interest which he described as mostly ensuring the late actress gets a befitting burial. He explained that the late actress was a prominent member of a social engagement project in which he worked closely with her. Read his words below:

In conclusion, he pointed that his concern was in no way for his personal interest, let alone a ploy to gain popularity. Olukayode said he has been on several TV shows and has countless of times appeared on national television and more, that he was married to an actress who is also popular.
