Local election begins in Britain

Voting began Thursday in Britain’s local elections, the first nationwide electoral test for Prime Minister Theresa May.

Polling stations opened at 7:00am (0600 GMT) and will close at 10pm, with results from nearly 5,000 local authority races due on Friday..Punch
