MBGN winner Ugochi Ihueze crowned top model at the Miss World 2017 contest
At the just concluded Miss World 2017 contest the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria winner (MBGN), Ugochi Ihueze representing her country was crowned top model during the competition.
The competition took place on Saturday, November 18, in Sanya City Arena, Sanya, China. This was said to be the 67th edition of the Miss World beauty pageant. Celebrating her award was Ihueze who shared the pictures of the award on her Instagram handle with the caption:
“Miss World 2017 Top Model. For the past 2 years I have worked as a model in Nigeria going for castings and auditions, being rejected by clients or getting accepted, late nights on the roads and streets of Lagos, jumping molue, Keke and brt. I can now say it all paid off but this doesn’t mean it’s time for me to relax. It only means more hardwork for me. I want to thank everyone who has directly or indirectly helped and supported me in my journey to get to this point. And everyone who has voted for me and sent me words of encouragement, I really appreciate it. I promise to keep doing my best.”
Her picture was also posted on Twitter by @SplufikNG with the caption: “Nigeria’s representative at Miss World 2017, Ugochi Ihueze, was crowned the Top Model for 2017, defeating other 117 contestants at the just concluded event.”
