Medical vacation! Nigerians divided over CNN’s quiz on Buhari

President Buhari

Nigerians have expressed divergent views over the mockery of President Muhammadu Buhari’s continued stay abroad by the Cable News Network, CNN.

The latest edition of CNN’s “Global Public Square (GPS)” show, anchored by Fareed Zakaria, asked which head of state had spent two months outside his country before providing Nigeria as the answer.

The quiz has elicited a wide range of response from Nigerians. Some commentators think the quiz is unfair, while others see it as an opportunity to bash the president.

CNN is only being mischievous and nobody should consider such current affairs quiz as spiteful of Nigeria. But I know that political goons and jobbers will make a mountain out of an anthill.

Watched @CNNlast night. The shame that these beasts brought upon our nation will be multiplied in their lives a million fold. We warned!

Nigeria is not a nation. The earlier we understand this and accept it ; the better cure we apppy to treat her ailment.

We need to ask Americans where the hell is their President.

1 Buhari/Osinbanjo is still better than 1million Trumps.

USA leave in a Glass house they should mind the way they throw stones.

From New York City.

You are afraid to ask the question yourself, so CNN is asking the question on your behalf. America might not be perfect, but l can assure you that half the trash that is going on in Nigeria will not occur in America without a revolution. Trump would not leave America for Medical trip to London and stay there for more than two months without a word directly to the American people. We are in zoo call Nigeria, hence the presidency considers us games to toil with.

Even Buhari’s absence has been quizzed by CNN. Nigeria has been reduced to a caricature by this irresponsible govt
