Amidst the rising demand for youth inclusion in politics and governance, the ADC candidate for Ikwuano / Umuahia, Obinna Nwosu, is a 31 year old vibrant youth who has presented himself to serve. He is the youngest candidate from Abia state seeking to get to the green chambers

 

 

Brief Bio of Obinna Nwosu

 

 

Prince Obinna Nwosu was born on the 13th December 1990 to the family of His Royal Majesty Eze Sir Uzo Nwosu MFR and Ugoeze Professor Ngozi Nwosu JP (Umukabia Okaiuga Alike Autonomous community, Umuahia, Abia state). He is a humanitarian who has a passion for education and youth upliftment. He has a BSc Mathematics, an MSc in Investment and Finance from England, a Certified National Accountant, an Oracle Certified Expert, a certified Business administrator from Wales. Obinna is enrolled to the unconventional school of Politics, Policy and governance (SPPG). He is a London trained Finance and Oracle database consultant who had a stint in the private sector before deciding that his future was in public service. In 2017, he started working with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and was deployed to Abia state. His years of experience working in Abia made him realize that so much that has been left undone from a broad perspective. This activated a divine burden in his heart to push for a better society by getting involved in politics. He will always say “If we must take anything serious, it has to be politics, because politics determine every other thing, such as education, healthcare, welfare, security etc. He is running for Federal House Respresentative, and he is hoping to represent the good people of Ikwuano / Umuahia Federal Constituency. He is hoping to reposition his constituency to its beautiful trajectory during the days of Late Dr Micheal Okpara. Obinna is vastly experienced, compassionate and rational in thinking. He considers himself to be a bridge between the young and old generation. As a youth, he believes he is at the rightful age to represent Ikwuano / Umuahia and drive 21st century growth and prosperity. He is confident of his preparedness for the job, and that his people would be making a sound decision by getting him into the Federal House Representative in 2023. He wants to assemble our best minds, young and old, men and women to achieve collective success.
