NIGERIA’S GLOBAL NEGATIVE IMAGE MUST BE CHANGED SAYS SOUTH AFRICAN MEDIA AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR MOLEBOHENG MATLI
- Moleboheng Matli a South African Media & Social Entrepreneur heading up Matli Holdings Group a diversified multi-national Media & Investment Group is not only advocating for the unity of Africa through the Southgerian Lifestyle Brand but her work in Nigeria across various States includes a recent visit to Bauchi State on a fact finding mission that she says was a positive eye opener contrary to the general stereotype of Northern Nigeria.
As always said and factually so, oil is exhaustible but toursim is sustainable, said Matli. Bauchi not only offers great and diversified toursim landscape but it is a historical heritage State with the power of being home to the tomb of Nigeria’s first Prime Minister Tafawa Balewa.
Without being oblivious of the insecurity of Northern Nigeria, one cannot also be ignorant of good leadership and strides made by the current Governor, HE Bala Mohammed. A good State with potential to expand its investment portfolio should not be discriminated against nor marginalized based on its location, Matli says with deep conviction.
The Government of Bauchi State has security as a priority area to advance developing the State and creating a stable environment for investor confidence, livelihood of Bauchilites in general but more-so to grow their LGR
(Local Generated Revenue) thus more job creation and skills development.
Given an opportunity we definitely looking to work closely in partnership with Bauchi State in the Toursim and Agricultural sectors to compliment amazing clear deliverables by the State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed in this first two years of his administration.
