Nollywood giant, Ejike Asiegbu loses dad

Leading thespian and former national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ejike Asiegbu is currently bereaved and mourning with his entire household.

 

Painful but reliable information reaching DAYLIGHTng has it that the consummate and multi-talented entertainer just lost his dear father, Chief J.U Asiegbu, to the cold hands of death.

 

In a brief chat with DAYLIGHTng, the proud son of Abia state and former students’ union government president at the University of Port Harcourt, disclosed the passing of his father in an emotion laden voice.

 

“He passed on last Saturday, the 15th of January 2022. He was 100 years old,”

“With gratitude to God for a life well spent, I wish to inform you of the transition of my dear father Chief, Sir, Engr. J. U. Asiegbu, an electrical engineer to eternal glory.

 

He was the oldest man in Umuihi Umuogba Ekeoba in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.

 

He passed on last Saturday, the 15th of January 2022. He was 100 years Old.

 

He is survived by many children and grandchildren. Funeral rites announcements would be made later. Please remember our family in your prayers.
