Nollywood ‘relocates’ to Abuja for world première of Inikpi

The federal capital city Abuja is set to host the world premiere of INIKPI film on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the prestigious Silverbird Cinema.

 

A statement made available to DAYLIGHT.NG  by the producer f the big budget flick stated that Inikpi  is a true life story of the only beloved daughter of Attah Ayegba, paramount King of Igala Kingdom in Kogi State, who willingly accepted to be buried alive to save her people and Kingdom.

 

It is regarded as one of the biggest stories from Igalaland and indeed the middle belt zone.

Produced by Abubakar Abking Yakubu, the Igala, Kogi State top Nollywood practitioner and directed by the Prolific director, Chico Ejiro.

 

The film parades mixture of new and veteran Nollywood stars I.e; Alexx Ekubo, Esther Audu,   Tom Makolo Jnr, Segun Arinze, Jummai Joseph, Nobert Young, Abubakar Yakub, Angela Phillip etc.

 

Prominent Igala and Kogi State sons and daughters have confirmed their willingness to attend and support the  premiere.

 

The indefatigable jewel of the confluence, Barrister Halima Alfa, shall be the Mother of the day and Distinguished Senator Ahmadu Ali will be the Father of the Day. Senator Dino Melaye will be Chief Guest of Honour and special guests include Victor Adoji, Prof. Stephen Ocheni, HE, Aisha Audu, Musa Wada, Gen. Patrick Akpah, Alhaji Kabiru Haruna, Barr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, Barr. Collins Aimuan, Prof Agbadu amongst other prominent Nigerians. Inikpi Film was recently nominated in five categories in Best of Nollywood Awards set to hold in December in Ogun State.
