Below is Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s interview,, which was conducted at the recently held None Shall Escape crusade organised by prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin’s Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Once again, you are welcome to our country. What message do you have for Nigeria?

The message I have for Nigeria is love. You have lots of potentials to build your nation, based on Godly values and morals but it can only be achieved with love. So, we (Prophet Jeremiah and I) brought the message of love.

Nigerians have lots of problems, divisions, confusion, so the message of love and hope, that we have brought, is quite timely. The message of love is quite important.

You are called the billionaire prophet in South Africa, how did you attain such financial status within a short period and what’s your message to the youths out there on financial empowerment?

Let me put it this way, aside my prophetic office, I’m a man who is married with lovely kids. I’m a family man. I’m also an entrepreneur, I’m a businessman. I have chains of businesses. I’m an investor. I do lots of investing. I believe that youths should stay focused, committed and become entrepreneurs. They should be hard workers. Don’t be a believer, but also a worker.

My partner here, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin also did and is still doing lots of investing in so many things, especially hospitality. To show the world what we can do.

From what you are saying, can one be rich and righteous at same time?

That’s the biggest point that I’m trying to raise, because it’s very important. Despite being a believer, it’s important to work hard to make your money.

In the bible, God told Timothy to be an example to the believers, not just in righteousness, but in words and in deeds. It’s not all about preaching and doing miracles but to be an example for others to follow.

Since your arrival, what has the experience in Nigeria been like?

Nigeria is a beautifully blessed country. It’s a spiritual country. What we are doing here is not new but the message we brought is important. Our concentration here is not just to perform miracles, but to lead people to Christ as well as change peoples’ lives through our preaching and our messages.

Since we came here, we have converted so many people. They were all turning up to give their lives to Christ. They all accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour.

As a man of God, what is the greatest thing God has done for you?

The greatest thing He has done for me is to save me. There’s nothing bigger or better than salvation. Yes! That is it!

Why did you team up with prophet Fufeyin for this religious programme?

We are preaching the gospel of love and it starts with us. Great men of God coming together to make things happen. They come together to preach to the world and show people love. We wore similar dresses during the crusade tagged: None Shall Escape, yes, that is because of the kind of message we preach; Love. That is the biggest message that should be brought to the whole world.

Fufeyin, brought me here to show love. No matter how big, you may be in your ministry, you must learn to love one another and teach your people to do so too.

What should people expect from you in the nearest future?

I would say, people should expect a lot of miracles happening in their lives. I can see more miracles, wonders and deliverance.

What’s the secret behind Bushiri and Jeremiah’s friendship; what do you like about each other?

What I like about Jeremiah is that he is a man of God and has won many souls for Christ. That’s the biggest attraction.

Do you have any favourite Nigerian food?

I love Egusi soup and Fufu. I like it so much, but I don’t like pepper at all. In fact, we don’t eat pepper at all. I ate pepper soup the other time and it seemed like a miracle, because nothing happened to me.

What’s that special message you’re taking back to your country, South Africa?

No message, because I came here to bring message not to take. I brought message of love. I joined hands with Prophet Jeremiah to bring message of love to Nigerians.
