Real reasons SARS officials arrested, detained Praiz

MTN brand ambassador and X3M artiste, Praise Adejo, popularly known as Praiz, became the latest Nigerian to be allegedly arrested and brutalised by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

According to TheNETng, the RnB singer was on his way to his record label’s end of year party when he was stopped by the police along Lekki-Epe expressway.

The entertainment news medium reported that Praiz’s phone was smashed by the SARS officials when he attempted to record his arrest.

He was reportedly taken to Ajah police station.

Meanwhile, hours after the report of the singer’s arrest went viral on social media, reports claimed the X3M artiste has been released.

Nigerians had recently stormed the social media to protest against the ill-treatment, abuse and harassment by operatives of the Police unit.Punch
