Senate panel suspends hearing indefinitely as IG withholds comments

The Senate panel has suspended its investigative hearing on the issues between Misau and the IG sine die.

The police boss and his lawyer pointed out that while the panel would break some provisions of the Senate Standing Rules by going ahead with the probe, it would be sub judice for Idris to answer any questions from the lawmakers.

Iziyon also submitted court papers to the panel, making its members to call for adjournment of the hearing to study the documents.
