Kylian Mbappe may not be an AS Monaco player much longer after reports claimed Arsenal are prepared to increase their bid for the 18-year-old prodigy to a world-record £95m.

The France’s Ligue 1 club had earlier rejected a £87m bid from the Gunners, but the Arsene Wenger led side are keen to bring Mbappe to the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Manchester City and rivals United are also keen to acquire the 18-year-old.

Mbappe established himself as the world’s most sought-after prodigy in the 2016/2017 season, helping Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and registering 26 goals, 11 assists in 28 starts across all competitions.

Mbappe also became the youngest player this century to score 15 goals in a season in Europe’s top 5 leagues.Punch
