Wizkid has reportedly become the most played Afrobeats artiste on Spotify .

His songs have been streamed over 136 million times – A fan has also taken to her Instagram page to embark on a 21 day fast on his behalf 2017 has seen a lot of big moves made by Nigerian musician’s especially popular stars Wizkid and Davido.

Most recently, it was announced that Davido will be performing at the prestigious MOBO awards holding in the UK. He joins the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Amy Winehouse, Coolio, Usher, John Legend, Jason Derulo, and Jessie J as stars that have graced the MOBO stage.

Wizkid too is celebrating a win as unconfirmed reports trending online say he is the most streamed Afrobeats artiste on music streaming site Spotify.

A screenshot making the rounds reveal that Wizkid has 136 million streams from his songs available on the platform.
