WWE RAW Results May 29th 2017
It’s go-home show time for Extreme Rules, the Raw Exclusive Pay-Per-View. We already know of some of the bigger matches planned for the show. What other surprises will the show bring us?
The Miz kicks off RAW
The show began with a Memorial Day Package, followed by the entrance of The Miz and Maryse for Miz TV.
The Miz put Cesaro and Sheamus over, calling them the hardest working Superstars but for him, who lost their moment in the sun, when the Hardyz showed up unannounced. Cesaro and Sheamus likened The Hardyz to brand new toys that they were going to break.
The Miz spoke about how Dean Ambrose dragged the IC title through the garbage. Ambrose interrupted and evened the odds with The Hardyz. The babyfaces rushed to the ring before the heels ran out.
The Hardy Boyz and Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz, Cesaro, and Sheamus
We returned from commercial to see The Hardyz in control, but the babyfaces managed to even the odds. Sheamus put a sleeper hold on Matt Hardy and set him up for the Beats of the Bodhran.
Matt Hardy mounted a comeback against the heels and tagged in Dean Ambrose who came in, all guns blazing. Ambrose cleared the ring before a distraction from The Miz allowed Sheamus to seize control.
We came back from commercial to see The Miz delivering the Daniel Bryan kicks to Dean Ambrose. Ambrose tried to make a tag in his corner although the heels dragged the babyface from his corner to the mat.
Sheamus attempted a pinfall but Ambrose kicked out. Ambrose fought off the top rope and tagged in Jeff Hardy for the classic babyface comeback. A flurry of offence followed from the babyfaces including Poetry in Motion, a dive from Ambrose and a Swanton Bomb to give the babyfaces the win.

Elias Samson vs. Zac Evans
Samson completely overpowered the enhancement talent, Evans, in the beginning of the contest. After some hard strikes, Samson tossed Evans against the turnbuckle, and then bashed his chin against the apron.
Some stiff shots followed and a swinging neckbreaker dismantled his opponent.
Corey Graves returned to the commentary desk, and we saw a graphic for a Triple Threat match featuring 3 of the 5 men who will be part of the Fata 5-Way match at Extreme Rules before heading into commercial.
Samoa Joe touched upon his NXT rivalry with Finn Balor during a backstage promo with Charly Caruso and said he looked at Balor’s 24 special for weaknesses. Bray Wyatt interrupted with a cryptic promo and called himself the demon Joe doesn’t know. He ended by saying, ‘only one can defeat the beast, and he is the Eater of Worlds.’
Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe
We saw Finn Balor walking to the ring, before heading into a break.
We returned from break to see Samoa Joe already in the ring, followed by Bray Wyatt. The men squared off as Wyatt left the ring. Balor had the upper hand initially whereas Joe gained momentum later.
Joe dragged Wyatt to the ring, and he hammered away on Balor.
Balor mounted a comeback but Joe broke up the count, delivering some hard knees subsequently. The three men traded blows, each gaining the advantage momentarily. The three men immaculately carried out a scary looking top turnbuckle-into-three-man-suplex spot.
Sister Abigail was reversed into the Coquina Clutch by Joe before Balor broke up the pin. Balor dove off over the top rope, flattening Joe and Wyatt.
Wyatt and Joe ganged up on Balor when we came back from commercial. Balor fought back with some elbows but Wyatt and Joe regained the advantage. Wyatt turned on Joe then, but could not seize the advantage as Balor fought back with an overhead kick.
Balor seized the advantage but Joe flattened him. Balor quickened the pace and took control of the match. Samoa Joe regained control with a Uranage. The pace picked up as a slingblade from Balor was reversed into a suplex.
Wyatt delivered Sister Abigail to Joe, but Balor returned with a huge comeback. He almost had the match won with the Coup De Grace but Joe ran in to pick up the win.

Rich Swann vs Noam Dar
Sasha Banks accompanied Rich Swann to the ring. Dar took the advantage at the start but Swann kicked out of a pinning predicament. Dar locked a painful looking submission move on Swann’s wrist.
Swann fought back with some stiff offence, before going to the top rope. Alicia Fox tried to get involved, but Sasha Banks saved Swann. Swann delivered a phoenix splash off the top rope to pick up the win.

Kalisto vs. Titus O’Neil
This is your life – Bayley edition
Alexa Bliss came to the ring looking absolutely amazing. Alexa Bliss suggested that Bayley couldn’t be part of a kendo stick on a pole match. Alexa Bliss went through a lot of Bayley artifacts proving how non-Extreme she is,
Mrs Flapper, Bayley’s fourth-grade teacher said that her father always joined her in class. Bayley’s best friend and her ex-boyfriend made fun of her and eventually started making out as well.
The crowd was very vocal about how much they hated the segment. Bayley came in and took out Alexa Bliss. Bayley attempted to reach for the kendo stick on the pole, but Alexa Bliss pulled out a kendo stick from underneath the table to beat up Bayley.
We saw Enzo Amore attacked in the back once again, as Cass insinuated that The Revival were responsible. Angle said that The Revival had left the building.
Austin Aries & Jack Gallagher vs. TJP and Neville
Neville tagged himself out as TJP faced off against Aries. Neville tagged himself in only when Jack Gallagher entered the ring. The action went back and forth, as Neville continued to avoid meeting Austin Aries inside the squared circle.
Neville was in control when we returned from commercial. Neville kept trash talking as he kept stomping on Gallagher. TJP entered the ring and slowed the pace down with a long sleeper hold.
Jack Gallagher mounted a comeback and even hit Aries on the apron. Eventually, Gallagher regained control with a headbutt and two hot tags were made. Aries came in, all guns blazing, Aries eventually consolidated his position with a suicide dive.
While he missed a kick from the top rope, Austin Aries locked in the Last Chancery to pick up the decisive win.
Austin Aries & Jack Gallagher def. TJP and Neville
Roman Reigns caught up with Mike Rome and said he’d heard what Seth Rollins had said, but he was the Big Dog and this was his yard before going into commercial. Coming back from commercial, an irate Neville refused to comment on his submission loss to Austin Aries.
Goldust spoke about reaching his breaking point in a promo, and how the Golden Age had begun. R-Truth retorted with a movie of his own and promised retribution.
Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns
It’s time for the main event. Seth Rollins came to the ring first before heading into commercial. Roman Reigns came to the ring next, drowned in boos. Roman and Seth tied up immediately and Seth rolled up Reigns for a pin, from which Reigns kicked out at 1.
Rollins delivered a very impressive looking standing moonsault on Reigns, but to no avail, as he could not pick up the win. The men traded holds until Reigns delivered a massive right hand. With a Drive By into the ring post, Reigns picked up the advantage. Rollins countered a spear with a knee and launched himself out of the ring on the latter.
Reigns was still in control as we returned from commercial. Reigns hit Rollins with 10 clotheslines in the corner, but a Superman Punch was countered with a knee. A slingblade from Rollins followed.
Seth Rollins dove upon Reigns on the outside. However, Reigns hit Rollins with a Superman match although Rollins just managed to kick out. Both men traded pinfall attempts, though neither could pick up the win.
Reigns caught Rollins with a right in the corner, although an attempt at a Samoan Drop was reversed into a Buckle Bomb. Roman Reigns still hit a Superman Punch on Rollins. Reigns charged into Rollins, but the latter sidestepped as the former crashed against the ring steps.
A blockbuster from Rollins followed as well as a Frog Splash. Reigns kicked out in the nick of time. The two men traded shots, before Roman Reigns delivered a spear and of course, picked up the win.
