Absence at show: Gbenga Adeyinka finally drags Peruzzi to court, demands N100m
Comedian, actor, and MC, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st has taken legal actions against DMW Music artist, Tobechukwu Okoh a.k.a Peruzzi over his absence at one of the 2022 editions of the Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends.
The Nation was reliably informed that Adeyinka had instructed his lawyers to institute legal action against the singer to the tune of N100m after several overtures to resolve the matter fell on deaf ears.
The papers filed by Adeyinka’s lawyers implied that Peruzzi failed to show up at the June 12 edition of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka and friends in Akure, Ondo state, and perform after the comedian had paid the sum of N2.5 million for his services.
It was also gathered that Adeyinka had incurred an extra N1.5million that covered the flight ticket, rooms, and transportation to and from the airport for Peruzzi.
The Nation had reported that Peruzzi was served a legal notice by Udomah Daniel Idoteyin over his failure to perform at a wedding ceremony in Uyo, Akwa Ibom after being fully paid.
Idoteyin took legal steps to seek redress and get back the sum of N3.670m performance fees from Peruzzi, who failed to show up or perform at his wedding after paying his fees. Nation
