After winning two MTV EMA awards, Davido throws shade at AFRIMA

 

Davido celebrated his win at the recently held MTV EMA awards by throwing shade at local award organizers .

He particularly had choice words for AFRIMA – OBO said their award ‘dey peel’ NAIJ had earlier reported that popular Nigerian musician Davido had won the coveted Best African Act Award at the MTV European Music Awards (EMA) which held on November 12, 2017.

Hours later, it was revealed that he had won the Best Worldwide Act award. This award is given to musicians who stand out in certain regions of the world and Davido won that of Africa.

Reacting to his win, Davido appeared to throw shade at the organizers of AFRIMA saying the awards he won at their event two years ago ‘dey peel.’ naij
