Angry lover kills blogger for insulting his sexual prowess

A 33-year-old Information Technology specialist, Maxim Gareyev, has confessed to killing his lover, Russian beauty blogger, Ekaterina Semochkina, 24, and stuffing her body in a suitcase.

He said that Semochkina had mocked his sexual prowess and labelled him a poor man.

According to Daily Mail, Gareyev told Russian police that he killed her after meeting her for sex.

He said, “She insulted me multiple times. She was insulting my sexual prowess and earning power. I could not stand that.

“I stabbed her with a knife at least five times around her neck and chest.”

Semochkina was found by her parents with her throat slit and stab wounds to her chest.

She was wearing only a suspender belt when she was killed in her rented flat in Moscow.

Asked if he regretted his action, Gareyev said, “I do and I will help the investigation.”
