The magistrate court in Sagamu, Ogun state, has adjourned the trial of Adeniyi Kayode, driver of the crashed Lexus sport utility vehicle (SUV) involving Anthony Joshua, to March 17, 2026.
Kayode appeared before the court on Wednesday for his trial bordering on reckless driving.
However, during the court proceedings, R.D. Kadiri, the counsel who represented the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP), said the prosecutors needed more time to gather evidence and witnesses for the case. Kadiri told the court that the case file had been forwarded to the Ogun DPP by the police.
Olufunilayo Somefun, the magistrate, adjourned the case to March 17. Thecable
