Four staff of the Nigeria Football Federation has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, revealed this on Wednesday.

Staff of the NFF had undergone COVID-19 tests two weeks ago after a top management member of the federation tested positive.

“We also conducted COVID-19 tests on all members of staff and four returned positive,” Pinnick wrote on Twitter.

“While one has fully recovered and confirmed negative, others are in stable condition, receiving treatment with the full compliment of the NCDC.”

Pinnick also advised that health protocols and advisories must be diligently adhered to.

“COVID-19 is still with us and it is important that we follow all health protocols and advisories diligently. I would like to recognize the true heroes of this fight, our frontline workers; the doctors, nurses and health professionals.” Punch
