At last, Senate passes independent candidacy bill

A bill on Independent candidacy in the presidential, governorship, National Assembly, State Houses of Assembly, and Local Government Councils elections scaled through at the Senate.

A total of 94 senators registered to vote, 89 voted in support while 5 voted against.
