Boko Haram kills four in fresh Borno attacks

Suspected Boko Haram members, on Saturday, killed four persons in Tunkushe village which is a few kilometres from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

Confirming the attack, the spokesman for the police in Borno State, Edet Okon, in a press release said: “Today, being 23/06/18 at about 0100hrs, gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists attacked Tunkushe village in the  Konduga Local Government area of Borno State.”

He said four persons were killed in the attack.

Okon added that the police deployed more personnel to strengthen security in the area.Punch
