Chef Dammy: I didn’t beg anybody for financial assistance

Damilola Adeparusi aka Chef Dammy has denied ever begging for financial aid from anyone.

She squashed claims made in a video posted by popular blogs on Monday which supposedly captured her seeking monetary donations to finance her security.

The clip’s headline as published by one of the blogs reads: “The money we have is not enough to pay for my security” – Ekiti state chef Dammy begs for financial assistance”

While the other’s stated: “The money we have is not enough to pay for my security — Chef Dammy begs Nigerians for financial support.”

Reacting to the blogs’ posts, the 300-level FUOYE student retweeted them, warning that they should quit proppagating ‘fake news’.

She claimed all who have assisted her did so out of personal conviction that she very well deserved it, insisting she never had to beg no one for money.

Tagging the blogs to her tweet, Adeparusi wrote: “There is nowhere that I have ever begged for financial assistance. Stop broadcasting fake news.

“I have never begged for financial assistance from anyone. If anyone assisted me, it’s because they are convinced that I deserved it. Stop spreading fake news!” Nation
