Coroner Inquest: Stop shedding crocodile tears over Adeleke’s death, activist tells Aregbesola

A leading human rights activist in Osun State, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi
Sulaiman has warned the State governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola to stop
Shedding crocodile tears over the death of the first Executive Governor of the
State, Late Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, insisting that Mr.
Aregbesola is just shedding crocodile tears after they have achieved
their political aim and calculation ahead of 2018 governorship
election in the State.
He also threw his weight behind the Adeleke’s family rejection of the Coroner
Inquest ordered by Aregbesola. He also warned the State government
against forcing the Adeleke’s family to be part of its kangaroo panel
of Coroner Inquest into the mystery surrounding the death of their
Breadwinner, Senator Adeleke. He noted that once the family had earlier
rejected the kangaroo Inquest panel publicly with the allegation that
Governor Aregbesola had concluded arrangement to manipulate the cause
of the late Senator’s death with the sole aim of establishing what the
State government wants the people to hear. He added that the State
government should leave the family alone.
The renowned activist who stated this in a statement which was made
available to DAYLIGHT.NG on Thursday that he had never made any public
statement since the sudden mysterious demise of Senator Adeleke in the
early hours of Sunday, April 23rd, 2017.
Comrade Sulaiman who is the Chairman, Civil Societies Coalition for
the Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEOS) faulted the Kangaroo Inquest
panel set up by Aregbesola, describing it as political, self-serving,
satanic, show of shame, evil, heartless, aberration, unacceptable and
crime against humanity and God.
