COVID-19: 205 new cases, four deaths reported across 14 states, FCT

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has reported 205 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and four related deaths across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The NCDC stated, “On the 13th of March 2021, 205 new confirmed cases and four deaths were recorded in Nigeria.”

The information was tweeted via its verified Twitter handle @NCDCgov in the earl hours of Sunday (today).

It added, “Till date, 160,537 cases have been confirmed, 144,714 cases have been discharged and 2,013 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 205 new cases are reported fromthe following states and FCT: Ondo (33), Lagos (25), FCT (22), Bauchi (21), Akwa Ibom (15), Kaduna (14), Katsina (13), Ogun (13), Rivers (11), Edo (8), Ekiti (4), Imo (4), Kano (3), Nasarawa (2), and Niger (2)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.

“Our discharges today include 439 community recoveries in FCT and 96 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC said.
