Covid-19: Leading entertainer, De Don kicks against lockdown

Top comedian and OAP, De Don is not happy with the way the federal and state governments are handling the lockdown caused by the global outbreak of Covid-19.
Below are the exact words of the controversial entertainer, in a recent email chat with DAYLIGHTNG.COM
“OAP/stand-up comedian; Iruvwe Okeremute Don aka De Don has call out the APC government to Justify the total lockdown.
On his instagram page he posted a video where he said “the government of the day always copy the western world wrongly and in many cases for their selfish interest, every state in Nigeria is doing total lockdown just to get some funds from federal government and some foreign Organizations.
Look let me tell you, cases of covid-19 in Canada is well above 15,000 but their lockdown is no were as severe as Nigeria with less than 500 cases. At least on my birthday April 15th, 2020 I was able to fix my phone’s shattered screen in a shop. All we did was to observe social distance (6 feet from each other), I was able to buy printer from ‘Staples’ and trust me a lot of businesses that can operate without gathering of people are allowed to operate”
“In my country Nigeria because of selfish reasons and the corrupt blocked heads of these APC leaders every business is shutdown thereby increasing the rate of rubbery and crime, your Excellency this is a shame, tell me how you intend to distribute relief materials when you don’t have data, common National ID you could not give the citizens, I beg I don tire. You blame the market woman who took advantage of the covid-19 negatively and increase price meanwhile you are worse.
Another annoying thing is that the government officials do not observe social distancing at their gathering like the chief of staff, Abba Kyari’s funerals, press briefings, etc, you need to see when the Nigeria police are arresting offenders of lockdown order.”
