COVID-19: NCDC announces 25 new deaths in Lagos
Twenty-five more patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in Lagos State.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known via its Twitter handle on Tuesday.
With the 25 new cases, no fewer than 107 COVID-19 fatalities have been recorded in the state.
“Lagos State recorded 25 deaths between June 12th and 15th; they were all announced on June 16,” the NCDC tweeted.
The centre also said 490 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the country on Tuesday, making confirmed cases of coronavirus increase to 17,148 in Nigeria.
It also said no fewer than 455 patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in the country.
