Davido beats Wizkid, wins MTV EMA’s best African act 2017

 

 

He beat out Wizkid and other African stars to go home with the Best African Act Award at the recently held MTV EMA

He dedicated his win to his late mother Days after he released his third single for 2017, popular musician Davido won the coveted Best African Act Award at the MTV European Music Awards (EMA) which held on November 12, 2017.

Davido beat out the likes of Wizkid, Babes Wodumo, C4 Pedro, Nasty C and Nyashinski to take home the award.

The dad of two took to his Instagram page to react to his win. He wrote that he is dedicating this award to his mother.

This is coming after Davido denied that he was throwing shade at actress Caroline Danjuma in his new single titled FIA. naij
