Media mogul and publisher of Ovation International, Dele Momodu has revealed that he hosted former Labour Party presidential candidate and ex-Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, in Accra, Ghana, on Wednesday.
Sharing the news via his official X handle, Momodu said he received Obi in the capital of Ghana earlier in the morning before taking him to his residence for breakfast“Earlier this morning, I welcomed the former Labour Party Presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, His Excellency PETER OBI, to the beautiful city of Accra, Ghana, and we headed to my home for breakfast,” Dele Momodu wrote.
While the details of their conversation were not disclosed, the meeting quickly gained attention on social media, with many followers remarking on the warm rapport between the two prominent figures.
Obi, who ran for president in Nigeria’s 2023 general election under the Labour Party, has remained a visible figure in public discourse, often meeting with political leaders, business executives, and members of the Nigerian diaspora both at home and abroad.
Recall on Sunday, Obi held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The politician also separately, on the same day, met the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. Vanguard
