Ekiti bank robbery: Policeman, five-year-old girl allegedly killed

Armed robbers on Thursday afternoon attacked an old generation bank in Oye-Ekiti, leaving two persons dead.

Sources said the victims were a young girl of about five years old and a man suspected to be the policeman attached to the bank.

A source said the armed robbers, who shot endlessly into the air on arrival and during the robbery, gained entrance into the banking hall after blowing up the door with dynamite.

According to the eyewitnesses, the robbers escaped with huge amount of money.
