Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, Popularly known as Masterkraft,  has become the toast of music lovers worldwide just few minutes after hitting the airwaves  with his much anticipated debut album entitled ‘Unlimited.

The album, which has 17 tracks designed to suit the interest of both young and old, was released few hours ago (today) to music lovers, and it is currently holding the audience spell bound with the best of its lyrical vibrations

Masterkraft, who has worked behind the scene as a renowned music producer for many notable and talented artistes in the Nigerian music industry disclosed that most of the songs in the album were inspired by what he had seen and thought of during his numerous travels in and out of Nigeria

According to him, the album which features  both Nigerian and African A-list artistes such as Flavour, Davido, CDQ, Tekno, Olamide, Sarkodie, ReekaDo Banks, MiCasa, Byno, Joel, Dj JimmyJatt, Dj Maphorisa, Locko, Dela, Fiokee, Dvyne, Poka Face, Tamba Hali, FI X Loo Loo, Belinda, Ivlyn Mutua, among others, is a unique rendition different from what music lovers are used to, as it is designed to meet the yearning gaps that have been there in the Nigerian music industry.

Stressing on the quality, Mastercraft said he had to travel to Dallas, United States for two weeks where he employed the services of Audio Dallas Recording Company in Texas to convert the sound into what is acceptable on the international scene.

According to him: “Audio Dallas has mixed sounds for the likes of Dallas Jazz Orchestra, Bailey Brown, MTV Video Music Award Winning KC & JoJo, Rick Ross – Push It – RIAA Gold Award from the Billboard #1 charting album Port Of Miami, Beverly Crawford – 2015 #1 Billboard Award- Top Gospel Album, Tamela Mann – The Master Plan – 2010 #2 Billboard Gospel Chart and Dove Award winner, Hollywood Icon Ann-Margret and Dallas Jazz Orchestra, among others.

Masterkraft who is also a band director, pianist, and Songwriter said the era of just making hit songs for the sake of it is gone adding that music must have mass audience appeal which he claimed ‘Unlimited’ has in abundance.

On his kind of music, he said it cuts across all genres, stressing that it touches on every musical genre, R&B, Hip-Hop and the rest of them.

Speaking further, the renowned producer stated that he crafted this musical work to serve as a tool of motivation to the society, preaching love and reality of life, telling them that they are ‘Unlimited’ in whatever they do as an individual, and as such they should never give up on their aspirations in life

As a way of giving back to the society, Masterkraft  has put in place all the necessary plans to organize a Talent Show in Ajegunle where he grew up, adding that it will go a long way in shaping their lives forever.

As if that is not enough, the ace producer also plans to stage a musical show using some of the celebrities that have come out of Ajegunle currently making waves all over the world.

On his next musical plan after ‘Unlimited, he said “I have a plan to focus on the DJ aspect of my career, which will involve going to shows and performing live on stage. My kind of DJ is not this idea of playing existing song for artistes to mime on stage. I see DJ as a kind of person who recreates sound for artistes during performance on stage.

“If not, what is the need of playing and miming existing song on stage when the audience can easily go to the market and buy the same song and play it at home? So it doesn’t make sense. Therefore, DJs must be creative so that the audience will feel fulfilled going to watch a live performance on stage,” he concluded.
