Go for confession if you watched indecent clip of Ibom Air passenger repeatedly – Catholic priest

Emmanuel Ehioma, a Catholic priest, has asked repeated viewers of the now-viral Ibom Air passenger footage to head for confession.

Ehioma warned that rewatching the footage crosses a moral line.

On Sunday, videos shared on X showed Comfort Emmanson, a passenger, hitting a flight attendant on an Ibom Air plane and confronting airport security officials.

Ibom Air imposed a travel restriction on the passenger for her conduct.

In the initial videos shared, Emmanson’s shirt was noticeably torn amid the kerfuffle.

Afterwards, more videos surfaced showing the passenger being forcefully dragged off the aircraft, with her clothes torn and her breasts fully exposed as she made to conceal them.

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) called for the prosecution of those who captured and published the “unedited” video of the passenger.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ehioma acknowledged that viewers of the video did not sin initially because they did not expect what was coming.

“But if you went back to watch it again, you have to go for confession,” he said.

“This post doesn’t need to make you feel good,” he added, equating watching the video to viewing adult videos and obscene pictures.

“The second, third, fourth and other times you went back to watch that video were because of your hunger to see her nude and feel good about it, just the same way you act towards porns,” the reverend father said. Thecable
