GOCOP announces call for new members

The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has opened application for new members.

Membership is open to Nigerian publishers of online news platforms.

To qualify for membership, an online publisher should:

a. Have practised journalism for at least 10 years or appoint an editor who has practised for at least 10 years.

b. Have a company registered as a media entity with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

c. Have an online publication that has been in operation for three years

d. Have a verifiable and functional office in Nigeria.

e. Have a minimum of two reporters and other layers of staff.

f. Be recommended by at least two financial members of the association.

g. Pay an application fee of twenty thousand naira (N20,000) to the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers
