Gunmen invade Abuja community kill one, kidnap two

It was a sad day for residents of Gaba, a community under Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) when gunmen invaded the community.

According to findings, the gunmen numbering over six invaded the village around 12: 15am on Wednesday killed one person and kidnapped two others.

A government official, who resides in the community told our correspondent that two persons were kidnapped and one killed.

A top police source, who confirmed the incident, said the Police were on their trail of the bandits. He decried the threat of informants within the community, saying it is a source of worry. The security source said there are active informants living with the people and more needs to be done to fish the informants out.

Gaba, is the village where the current Chairman of Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya hails from.
