Home Eagles Back In Nigeria Via MMIA Lagos, Set For Presidential Reception

Players and officials of the  home-based Super Eagles have arrived in the country following their participation at the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco where they won the silver medal, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.
Salisu Yusuf’s charges came second in the tournament  after going down to a 4-0 defeat to hosts Morocco in the final on Sunday in Casablanca.
The team, Completesportsnigeria.com learnt, touched down at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos at about 3:45am on Tuesday via an Air Maroc flight.
The team was led by chairman, Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ahmed Yusuf and other members of the Executive Committee.
They were received  on arrival by members of the Nigeria Football Supporters  club who laid  siege at the airport all night to welcome them back to the country.
The team is expected to be hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on WednesdayCompletesportsnigeria
